- Add Drive
From the Oracle VM Virtual Box Manager window, select the Virtual Box and click on Settings.
Go to Storage, select hard drive and click on Add a hard disk.
Click on Create New Disk.
- List Partitions
fdisk -l
Iidentify which hard drive you need to partition
fdisk /dev/sdb
- Format the Partition
mkfs.ext4 /dev/sdb1
- Mount the partition
mount /dev/sdb1 /path/to/mount
- Add fstab entry
$ nano /etc/fstab
/dev/sdb1 /path/to/mount ext4 defaults 1 2
Resize HD
VBoxManage modifyhd "E:\VirtualBox VMs\Kali\Kali-disk001_1.vmdk" --resize 81920
